For nearly 20 years, Allison Person has been transforming the lives and looks of clients here in Memphis, TN & across the country, serving national entertainers, professionals, students, and fashion enthusiasts alike. Her artistry and precision have earned her the nicknames “weavologist” and “extension guru,” thanks to her safe, intricate hair weaving method known as The “22” Technique, which ensures healthy hair growth. She is also one of the Mid-South’s most sought-after wig makers, creating her signature AP Custom Units, and expertly works with all hair textures while providing professional cut, color, and chemical processing services.
Allison is the creator of AP Oils, including AP Hair Growth Oil, AP Face Oil, and AP Body Oil—the first of many beauty products under the AP Beauty brand. At her salon, only the best professional products are used, reflecting Allison’s commitment to excellence and care.
Trained under some of the nation’s most acclaimed hair professionals, Allison continues to attend seminars and advanced education programs to remain at the forefront of the hair styling industry in the Southeast.
Beyond hair, Allison embarked on a personal wellness journey that transformed her life. Through dedicated self-care and healing, she discovered the profound power of mindfulness and balance. Once healed, she knew her new mission was to share this knowledge with as many people as possible, helping others experience the same sense of strength, clarity, and peace she found. She openly shares her wellness journey with her clients in the salon, encouraging them to prioritize their own health and well-being.
Inspired by this mission, Allison created “Strength in Stillness,” a wellness workshop designed to introduce participants to meditation and the transformative practice of stillness. This event provides people with a safe, nurturing space to explore mindfulness and connect with their inner calm.
