Hair Stylist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced hair stylist to join our upscale salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and a strong understanding of current hair trends and techniques.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional hair styling services including cuts, color, and treatments to clients
  • Building and maintaining client relationships by providing excellent customer service
  • Staying current on industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
  • Collaborating with the salon team to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Handling cash, credit card and other forms of payment
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a hair stylist
  • A valid cosmetology license
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

We offer competitive compensation and commission.  (50/50 Commission)

Part-Time Salon Coordinator

We are currently seeking a highly organized and customer-service oriented salon coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an upscale salon or spa and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and maintaining the salon's schedule
  • Greeting clients upon arrival and ensuring they have a positive experience
  • Handling cash, credit card and other forms of payment
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the salon
  • Assisting stylists and other staff members as needed
  • Helping to maintain inventory of supplies and products
  • Assisting with marketing and promotional activities for the salon
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing any complaints or concerns

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or coordination role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of client interactions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with salon software and tools
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
