The Salon Experience

My goal is to provide intentional, high-quality hair services in a calm and welcoming environment. Each appointment is thoughtfully scheduled to allow the time, care, and customization your hair deserves.

The following policies help protect your time, my time, and the overall experience for every guest. Thank you for understanding and supporting a small, service-based business.


Booking & Consultations

All new color clients and guests requesting major changes are required to schedule a consultation prior to booking. Consultations allow us to discuss your hair history, goals, maintenance expectations, timing, and investment before your appointment.

Consultations are strongly recommended for:

  • Dimensional color

  • Blonding or lightening services

  • Corrective color

  • Extensions or wigs

  • Significant cut or style changes


Pricing & Service Minimums

Services are priced based on time, skill, customization, and the level of expertise required. Many services have a minimum investment, and pricing may vary based on:

  • Hair length and density

  • Texture and natural pattern

  • Desired outcome and maintenance level

  • Time required to safely achieve results

Final pricing is confirmed during your consultation or prior to the start of your service.


Color Services & Finishing

Color services are booked with specific timing to ensure quality results. For textured hair, a blowout and/or silk press may be required to properly finish and assess the color.

Finishing services are priced separately to ensure accuracy and customization rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.


Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours may result in a fee of 30% of the scheduled service

  • No-shows may be charged 100% of the scheduled service

This policy allows availability to be offered to other clients and protects reserved appointment time.


Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be adjusted or rescheduled depending on the remaining time available.

Late arrivals may impact the quality of results or require services to be modified.


Guests, Children & Salon Environment

To maintain a relaxing and focused environment:

  • Please limit additional guests

  • Children are welcome only when receiving a service

This helps ensure safety, comfort, and a calm experience for everyone in the salon.


Phones & Work Calls

Please be mindful of phone volume and work calls during your appointment so the salon remains a peaceful space for all guests.


Payment & Gratuity

Payment is due at the time of service. All major forms of payment are accepted.

Gratuity is appreciated but never expected.


Adjustments & Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is important. If you have concerns with your service, please notify me within 7 days so adjustments can be discussed.

Adjustments do not include a change of mind or requests for additional services not originally booked.


Agreement

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these salon policies. These guidelines allow me to provide the best possible service and experience for every guest.
